Determine ring size

How to determine your ring size

Determine your ring size using our size chart. This is easy to do by determining your ring diameter using our template. And that is how it works:

This is how determining the ring size works with our size chart:

Open the following PDF document and print the page on A4 paper.

To do this, select the print settings: A4 portrait format, no page adjustment, zoom 100%

Caution: Do not place the ring on the screen. Different screens display the sizes differently and lead to incorrect results.

We would be happy to send you a ring gauge free of charge so that you can measure your finger correctly for the final adjustment!

Ralf Nutt advises you: Determine ring size

We asked our owner, jeweler and diamond expert Ralf Nutt for the best tips for measuring your ring size.

With these 5 points, nothing can go wrong.

  1. In German-speaking countries, engagement rings are traditionally worn on the ring finger of the left hand, and wedding rings on the ring finger of the right hand. In other countries, particularly the USA and UK, this is exactly the opposite. Note that the fingers on both hands are not the same width.
  2. Choose a ring that sits comfortably on your finger so that it doesn't slip down and can be pulled off over your knuckle at the same time.
  3. Note that the width of the finger varies with the time of day as well as the temperature. It is best to measure your fingers in the evening and when they are warm.
  4. For wide rings (from 5mm) you should ideally choose a size larger than for narrow rings to ensure they are comfortable to wear.
  5. If you don't have a ring to size the ring, you can also wrap a thread around your finger and measure the thread. For best results, you should use a non-stretch thread and carry out the measurement several times.
